Educational Philosophy
My vision for students is to develop a unique voice that is equally defining and authentic. I am dedicated to nurturing creativity, musical artistry, friendship, safety, and innovation, with the goal of inspiring the development of each student’s musical voice while cultivating important life skills. I encourage my students to actively explore a variety of repertoire selections, ensemble configurations, and educational resources, with the goal of equipping them to become impactful benefactors to society. Through this process, I hope to instill in them confidence and self-assurance that will enable them to pursue their passions with conviction and resilience. As we work together towards these goals, I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel empowered to take risks, make mistakes, and ultimately, discover their own path.
