His love for music education grew during his days in high school marching band. The precision and excellence that was required of students led Trek to nourish his affinity for music. As an advocate for student opportunity and success, Trek serves as the saxophone instructor at Argyle ISD and Lake Dallas ISD. Trek currently serves as the Adjunct Professor of Saxophone at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. During his time there, he dedicates his time towards his students and community. Trek hails from Abilene, Texas and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts in saxophone performance at the University of North Texas with Dr. Eric Nestler.
